On Friday, Sara Carpenter, a retired New York Police officer, was found guilty in a Washington, DC court on seven criminal counts, including two felonies, for her actions on January 6, after US District Court Judge James Boasberg denied her request on March 3 for a delay so that her lawyer's could review the recently released footage of that day by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

Freedom News reported, "Retired NYPD Spokes person, Sara Carpenter, has been convicted on all counts on January 6 charges, after a judge denied her request to push back the start of her trial to allow time to review about 44,000 hours of Capitol riot footage from House Speaker Kevin McCarthy."

CNBC reports that 51-year-old Carpenter was arrested in March 2021 after surrendering to the FBI.

Footage posted on Twitter by Freedom News shows a woman "matching the description of Sara Carpenter"at the Capitol building on January 6 saying "The congress needs to come out, they need to certify Trump as president." Earlier that day then-President Donald Trump held a "Stop the Steal" rally in Washington, DC, after which a group of protesters left and entered the Capitol building.

On Monday, March 6 Tucker Carlson released never-before-seen footage provided by Speaker McCarthy that highlighted false claims about the Capitol riot made by several pundits and Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi's January 6 Committee. Revelations from the footage showed US veteran Jacob Chansley, dubbed the QAnon Shaman, being escorted peacefully by police, contradicting claims he was a violent insurrectionist.

Chansley was sentenced to 4 years in prison on crimes related to his actions on January 6.

Footage also revealed Ray Epps, who was seen on video the night before the January 6 encouraging Trump supporters to enter the Capitol building, lied in sworn testimony and that Officer Brian Sicknick was alive after Democrats claimed he had been killed because of the riot. Establishment media and Democrats have falsely claimed five police officers died because of the riot. On January  6, mother and veteran Ashli Babbit, who was unarmed, was shot and killed by Capitol Police officer Lt. Michael Byrd.

>McCarthy released over 40,000 hours of footage for the sake of transparency and Carpenter asked for the footage to be reviewed in her case.

Politico reports Judge Boasberg denied her request last week because the precedent could "derail dozens of trials that are set in the next few months."

On Friday she was convicted on seven criminal counts, including Civil Disorder.
