Justin Bieber denies sexual assault allegation from 2014

Justin Bieber says “there is no truth” to allegations of sexual abuse that claim the singer assaulted a woman about six years ago, according to CTV News.

Bieber addressed the allegations on Twitter after they were made by a woman referring to herself as Danielle, on Sunday.

"I don't normally address things as I have dealt with random accusations my entire career but after talking with my wife and team I have decided to speak up on an issue tonight," said Bieber on Twitter.

"Rumors are rumors but sexual abuse is something I don't take lightly. I wanted to speak out right away but out of respect to so many victims who deal with these issues daily I wanted to make sure I gathered the facts before I made any statement," Bieber wrote.

Danielle alleged that the Canadian pop star sexually assaulted her at a Four Seasons hotel after he sang at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas on March 9, 2014.

Danielle tweeted: "I'm posting this anonymously because I'm not ready to come forward and reveal myself. If he comes across this, you know who I am. I know you remember me. I hope your life is hell after this and you drown in guilt."

Bieber took to Twitter to post photos, news articles and screenshots from that same night saying he was with Selena Gomez—his girlfriend at the time—for the whole night.

Danielle said she met Bieber at an event put together by Scooter Braun—his manager. She claims a man asked her and her friends if they were interested in meeting Bieber that night. She said they were then brought to the Four Seasons where she was taken to a separate room where the alleged sexual assault occurred.

"As her story told I did surprise a crowd in Austin at Sxsw where I appeared on stage with my then assistant side stage and sang a few songs. What this person did not know was that I attended that show with my then gf Selena Gomez," Bieber tweeted.

Bieber said, "confirmed with the Four Seasons regional manager that I was never on property on the 9th of March 2014 and never a guest on the 9th or 10th and I welcome all press to inquire with them if needed or wanted."

The singer said he spent that night with Gomez and others at an Airbnb after a booking error at the Four Seasons.

He proceeded to post receipt and emails as proof noting he was using the alias ‘Mike Lowery’ when making the bookings. He added that he plans to stop using the fake name.

After someone claimed the singer was at the hotel on March 10, Bieber said he was visiting the restaurant and not the hotel.

Bieber finished a series of tweets by saying he plans to take legal action.

The tweets from Danielle have now been deleted though pictures of them are still circulating online.

"Every claim of sexual abuse should be taken very seriously and this is why my response was needed. However this story is factually impossible and that is why I will be working with twitter and authorities to take legal action," Bieber wrote.
