Left-wing maniacs celebrate the death of Herman Cain to score points against Trump

After former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain died of fatal coronavirus infection, leftists jumped at the opportunity to politicize his death.

"The first thing this brings to mind is that Herman Cain cannot possibly be the only fatality, and that there must be several other, less famous people that Trump killed," feminist author Sady Doyle tweeted.

Cain's passing did not bring to mind sorrow or venerance for the left. His loss was an evil "Aha!" moment for propagandists who were quick to point out that Cain was hospitalized for coronavirus just two weeks after he had attended President Donald Trump's rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, last month without a face mask.

MSNBC co-host Mika Brzezinski relayed the disparaging facts for us:

"He’s the first senior casualty of the science denial Trump cult," Evan McMullin wrote, who was an independent challenger in the 2016 presidential race. "The question is whether even that can wake others up about the dangers of Trump and the virus."

CNN commentator Ana Navarro-Cárdenas compared Cain's death to the passing of Turning Point USA co-founder Bill Montgomery. What did these two have in common to deserve this disrespect posthumously? They were pro-Trump coronavirus skeptics.

Navarro-Cárdenas even went on to assail Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert who has recently contracted the virus.

"See a pattern?" she scoffed.

While COVID-19 might not care about partisanship, the left certainly does. Instead of offering their condolences, leftists offered a collective and cruel, "I told you so."

The headlines that circulated mainstream media fell short of tactful obituaries, ignoring Cain's lifelong accomplishments, his character, and his legacy.

Reuters headline is titled, "Herman Cain, ex-presidential candidate who refused to wear mask, dies after COVID-19 diagnosis," interjecting with an implied "gotcha" to serve the newsworthiness of their leftist agenda.

The Week chalked the string of tragedies to "consequences of anti-mask paranoia."

And The New York Times used Cain's death to question if this fatality will "Change Republican Views on the Virus and Masks?"

Nevermind that Cain was the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza. Nevermind that Cain was a prominent business executive and chairman of a branch of the Federal Reserve. Nevermind that Cain was a colon cancer survivor.

The left will know Cain as a pro-Trumper who didn't wear a mask, just another coronavirus case study to add to the anecdotal arsenal.

Ironically, it was Trump who demonstrated the most class towards the deceased.

“My friend Herman Cain, a powerful voice of Freedom and all that is good, passed away this morning. Herman had an incredible career and was adored by everyone that ever met him, especially me,” Trump tweeted. "He was a very special man, an American Patriot, and great friend."

In April 2019, Trump had announced that he was considering nominating Cain to the Federal Reserve Board.

But Cain reportedly asked Trump to withdraw his name, claiming “enemies” were digging up negative stories about him from his failed 2011 White House bid.

“I’m not going to let the accusers run my life or determine my career,” Cain had proudly stated.

But yet again, the left never let a good crisis go to waste.
