On Friday, the Supreme Court ruled to overturn Roe v Wade in the case of Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health, turning decisions regarding abortion back to individual states.

Immediately following the ruling, pro-abortion activists were seen crying and screaming outside the Supreme Court.

In footage taken by Turning Point USA contributor Drew Hernandez, one pro-abortion activist was seen being consoled by a fellow activist as the decision was dropped, while another yelled, "it’s not over," and the crowd yelled that the court is "illegitimate."

On the other side of the aisle of the debate, pro-life activists were seen jumping and cheering for joy over the court’s decision.

In footage captured by TownHall’s Julio Rosas, pro-abortion activists were seen telling the crowd that they will "aid and abet abortion."

Prominent public figures on Twitter blasted the decision, saying that they will continue to fight for the right to get an abortion.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama said she was "heartbroken" by the court’s decision, and that the "horrifying" decision will lead to "devastating consequences."

Former First Lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that the court’s decision will "live in infamy."

Rise Up 4 Abortion Right, who have been protesting outside the Supreme Court for weeks, said that the ruling equates to "forced motherhood" and "female enslavement."

In response to the decision, cities across the country are preparing for a hectic, and potentially violent night, as the pro-abortion militant group Jane’s Revenge called for a "Night of Rage" earlier this month in the case that the court ruled against Roe.

Protests calling for women to "let your rage be seen" have been planned for Friday night in cities across the country.
