Many conflicts have come up in recent weeks as masks become mandatory in more locations across Canada and one customer in Toronto recently expressed his anger by smashing a glass pizza display.
The man was visibly upset at the customer next to him for not wearing his mask.
The video, which was posted to Reddit on Thursday shows the customer quickly lose his temper and begin smashing property at the restaurant on Queens Quay following an altercation with the man who was wearing no mask.
The man throwing the tantrum surprisingly can be seen wearing his own mask on the bottom of his chin.
In the video, the angry customer approaches the unmasked man and is pushed away after making physical contact with him. He then yells “He assaulted me!” several times as he films the other man who remains calm.
The man then pushes on the glass pizza display and it smashes it to pieces behind the counter.
The customer without a mask grabs his food and proceeds to leave the store as the other man says, “Do not give him his food!” and “You shouldn’t have done that.”
In a statement, Pizza Pizza told Narcity, “We prioritize protecting the health, safety and well-being of our teams and customers every day."
"There were no injuries during this incident and our team members are safe."
