Man arrested for uttering threats at event attended by Justin Trudeau

Peel Regional Police Tweeted Wednesday morning that a man has been arrested for uttering threats at an event attended by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Peel Regional Police tweeted Wednesday morning that a man has been arrested for uttering threats at an event attended by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

According to their Tweet, the RCMP has confirmed one person has been arrested with charges pending while Peel Police assisted with the arrest.

The man will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday.

Police confirmed there is no threat to the public or to the Prime Minister and charges are pending.
