Shark Tank celebrity entrepreneur Mark Cuban accepted One America News Network's Jack Posobiec offer to view the contents of Hunter Biden's laptop, requesting the evidence be uploaded online and calling an assembly of liberal journalists to analyze the findings.
On Sunday morning, NBC News reporter Ben Collins argued that the mainstream media cannot cover the Hunter Biden laptop bombshell dropped by The New York Post, because the press does not have access to the hard drive.
"This isn’t a Wikileaks thing. One guy has access to it, he wouldn’t give it to us, now he’s in quasi-hiding because he got caught in a hotel room with Borat’s daughter," Collins tweeted, referencing President Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani and the targeted underage sex hoax.
Then the Dallas Mavericks owner interjected, asking if a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request is possible to warrant a search of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's obtained hard drive and "see if one even exists."
Photos of a federal subpoena filed in the US District Court for the District of Delaware revealed that both the device and the hard drive were seized by the FBI in December of last year after the federal authorities were alerted of their existence by the computer repair shop owner in Biden's home state.
Collins responded, noting that a FBI federal records request is doable but a prolonged process. "By the time anything comes back, its utility would be kind of useless, since this is a transparent election plot laundered through known bad actors, which is the point."
Collins added in the replies: "Also, this conspiracy forces you to believe law enforcement AND the people with the 'laptop' have been sitting on a hard drive with child porn on it for about a year without taking action -- which is the underlying conspiracy they're trying to push. Criminal in itself." Cuban agreed, calling the scandal "crazy."
"The repair shop owner is legally blind but, saw a sticker that cant be found anywhere else, personally looked through the laptops, ran software that seems to have miraculously recreated the entire drives & asked for a special keyboard be brought in to link to a LAPTOP," Cuban wrote, alluding to the Beau Biden Foundation sticker—named after Biden's eldest son and the late former attorney general of Delaware—found on the device.
Posobiec later proposed the opportunity to peek at the laptop's contents, telling the billionaire: "Mark you are a straight shooter. Want to have a look at the laptop yourself and bring your own cyber team? Happy to set up soon as you like. Completely serious offer."
"The one the fbi has in its custody ? Same serial number? Or one of Rudy’s back ups ? Sure, I’ll get a team to take a look. But why not just share it online ? Would be fun to see if all the email meta data is there," Cuban responded, tagging a makeshift squad of liberal reporters: Collins, White House correspondent Maggie Haberman for The New York Times, and Talking Points Memo founder Josh Marshall. "[Y]ou guys want to come with ?" Cuban prodded.
"Let’s set it all up, Mark. Sharing someone’s intimate videos online isn’t news, but happy to bring some more journalistic light onto this situation with a serious effort," Posobiec volleyed.
