She and President Trump were diagnosed with COVID-19 in the early morning hours Friday, when it was revealed that both had contracted the illness that has swept the nation since earlier this winter.
The president remains at Walter Reed Medical Center, where he has been undergoing treatment since Friday. Trump's medical team has put him on a course of the anti-viral drug Remdesivir, and other treatments have been explored as well. He has also been taking vitamin D, melatonin, zinc, and aspirin. He also took a dose of a monoclonal antibody cocktail, called REGN-COV2.
After Trump was admitted to Walter Reed, supporters lined the road outside the Bethesda facility to show their support and admiration for the American president. Supporters waved flags, honked their horns, and stood in solidarity with the president, who had been hosting campaign rallies over the past few months.
Though the president is unable to continue his hectic schedule of appearances, his supporters came to him. Trump came out to wave hello to the crowd on Sunday.
