Some citizens of southern Quebec may have felt the earth move below them early Sunday morning, as a minor earthquake shook throughout the region.
Those in Montreal, Laval, and up to Mascouche likely felt the tremor, as Earthquakes Canada pins the earthquake at magnitude 3.6

That officially puts the quake in the "minor" category, where shaking is often felt and can move objects indoors, but rarely causes real damage.
The region is a relatively active seismic area. On March 6, a magnitude 3.3 quake shook the same area, with both occurring just after 3 am.
