Montreal: Iranian Islamic Centre to hold vigil for victims of plane shot down by Iran

The Iranian Islamic Centre took to Twitter to announce its plans for a public memorial to take place on Thursday, January 16, from 7:30-9 PM.

Canadians across the country are still mourning the tragic loss of innocent lives due to the Ukrainian Flight 752 that was shot down by an Iranian missile on Wednesday.

Vigils have been held across the country including Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Saskatoon and more.

The Iranian Islamic Centre of Montreal will be holding a memorial service for the lives lost in last Wednesday’s Ukrainian plane crash that killed 176 people, including 57 Canadians.

The Iranian Islamic Centre took to Twitter to announce its plans for a public memorial to be held on 210 St. Jaques in Lachine, QC. It will take place on Thursday, January 16, from 7:30-9 PM.

The memorial service is open to the general public.
