A transgender person went to Charlie Kirk for advice after admitting that to potentially regretting the transition. On May 3, Charlie Kirk set up a table at UC Berkeley and invited students to come speak with him.

Among those who did was a biological male who had transitioned and presented as female, this he told Kirk, saying that he presented more feminine but had been born male.

"I gotta say I'm pretty confused," he began. "I kinda wanna tell you about my situation, because I've been a little confused lately about myself."

"I came here, and I've been considering things a lot more, and, you know, I kinda present a little more feminine, but I actually was born a man, and I wanted to know ... what your thoughts are on, like, me. What path do you think I should go down?"

"Ok so you're born a man," Kirk responded, "so XY chromosomes. Did you go through surgery?"

The student, who said pronouns were still being figured out, told Kirk that while surgery hadn't been performed, they had started taking puberty blockers at age 11.

There have been concerns broached by doctors, including transgender and "gender affirming" Dr. Marcy Bowers, that those who go on puberty blockers at young ages essentially miss the window to develop to sexual maturity in their own sex.

After learning that as a result, he had never gone through puberty as a man, Kirk asked if he regretted that.

"I don't know if it's gotten to that point yet," he replied.

"It's a toughie, right," Kirk said, "because you can't reverse it, right?"

"If I stop taking them completely it will be reversed," he said,"and I will eventually go through male puberty, and become a man, which I am considering."

"I'm not here to tell you what to do with your life," Kirk replied, suggesting that the individual might give prayer a try. "

I think that living with your natural design will give you more peace," Kirk said.

Kirk then signed his arm, and the two left on good terms.
