On Saturday, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell promised to donate thousands of pillows to the Freedom Convoy protesters across Canada, in support of the group's ongoing protests against the Trudeau goverment's COVID-19 restrictions.

The Right Side Broadcasting Network's Brian Glenn spoke with the MyPillow founder at the "Save WI, Save America" event over the weekend.

"We're busy. All of our employees are busy making pillows right now for the truckers in Canada. We're gonna try and get them through. I'm not going to say what day, or you know we'll be…they'll be obstructionists." Lindell says.

"It's going to be great. You know I have a plant up in Canada. I have a factory up in Canada, but we can't make enough there because of what happened before when…. Remember when I was cancelled in the United States, Canada companies cancelled me too: CostCo, the Canadian Shopping Channel, so our production went way down a year ago," Lindell states during the RSBN interview.

"I've got a little problem with Trudeau, let me tell ya…. this started with me way back." Lindell concludes in his remarks. "What brave truckers just going around the world now. It's amazing..." Lindell adds, praising the pro-medical freedom protests now worldwide. "I encourage all the truckers – don't give up!"

It's unclear whether or not the pillow pledge can still go through as Lindell’s Minnesota bank recently informed the CEO they're closing his account by the end of the week. "What cowards," Lindell said on Steve Bannon's show Monday.

It was back in December 2021 that Lindell pledged "over 10,000" pillows to victims of the Kentucky tornadoes that devastated communities.

As for the Canadian truckers themselves, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently invoked the Emergencies Act against the freedom demonstrators.

Tensions escalated with the blockade at Ambassador Bridge. It was seen as a more pressing matter by world leaders than the ongoing protest in the streets of Ottawa given the volume of trade goods that transit through that busy border crossing.

Despite the recent announcement by Trudeau, truckers have said they plan to "hold the line" all the same. Premiers from four different provinces expressed their opposition to Trudeau's use of the Emergencies Act on the protesters.
