Lawyer Peter Gonzalez and marketing executive Ismael Llano posed questions to Biden during a town hall that took place in a swing state earlier this week when the former vice president appeared before a purported "audience of undecided Florida voters."

However, Gonzalez and Llano were cast on the network's sister channel in an August segment both explaining their support for Biden, Washington Free Beacon reported. "If we get four more years of Trump, good luck, and good luck with the future attracting younger voters," Gonzalez said on camera as an MSNBC chyron called him a "Republican voting for Biden." Llano was also identified as an "independent voting for Biden" as he declared that part of the Democratic candidate's speech at the time resonated with him.

On Monday, NBC News moderator Lester Holt alleged that Llano "voted for Hillary Clinton four years ago but has voted Republican in the past." Gonzalez, whose voting history remained undisclosed, then asked Biden to ease his friends and family's concerns that the Democratic ticket has been swayed by the "the radical left."

"Cuban American and Venezuelan voters here in South Florida are being targeted with messages by the Trump campaign claiming that a vote for Joe Biden is a vote for the radical left and socialism, and even communism," Gonzalez said. "What can you tell people in my family, my friends—who are understandably concerned with that issue—that would make them feel comfortable voting for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris?"

Mateo Gomez, yet another "undecided Latino voter" featured in NBC's town hall, had told MSNBC a day after the first presidential debate last Tuesday that he was leaning towards voting Biden over Trump.

"If you had to pull the trigger and vote for someone tomorrow, who would you vote for?" the host asked in a virtual interview. "Probably Biden in this sense. It would be one because just how unpresidential the whole entire debate was," Gomez weighed in from a crucial battleground state.

Other town hall attendees have demonstrated partiality for Biden on social media. Michelle Cruz Marrero, described as a former Republican, has posted several pro-Biden and anti-Trump cover photos.

"I Believe in Better" read one artwork's font, a reference to Biden's $700 billion Build Back Better spending plan with which he intends to combat the pandemic's economic fallout nationwide. Two pictures depicted the Biden-Harris campaign and "Joe & Kamala's Soul Squad" marketing material.
