WATCH: New Mexico rancher tells Fox News that the border wall worked and the decision to stop construction hurts 'the American people'

"The Biden Administration is stopping the wall, in my opinion to try to hurt Trump’s legacy of securing the border. When in reality all it is doing is hurting the American people," the rancher said. "The wall works. This is all a politically driven agenda."

A fourth generation rancher in New Mexico got emotional after discussing the impact of President Joe Biden’s executive order ending the border wall construction.

The rancher told the Sean Hannity Show on Fox News that the President’s executive order to end construction was politically motivated and American citizens will only suffer because of the decision.

The Trump administration notified the rancher back in April that border wall construction would be taking place on his New Mexico property. He told Fox News that he was "really excited about it."

"Everybody in our area is in favor of this wall because they’ve seen where its’ worked, and that it does work," the rancher told Lawrence Jones of Fox News after being asked if locals complained about the wall.

"The Biden Administration is stopping the wall, in my opinion to try to hurt Trump’s legacy of securing the border. When in reality all it is doing is hurting the American people," the rancher continued. "The wall works. This is all a politically driven agenda."

The fourth generation rancher fears the migrant crisis will affect his business after border wall construction is halted.
