The West Region Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public's help after a newly-painted LGBTQ Pride crosswalk was damaged in Paris, Ontario.
Police are offering a cash reward for anyone who can provide information as to how the tire marks came to appear on the crosswalk.
Similar incidents have taken place in the past across Canada. In July of last year, the West Vancouver Police Department was tasked with a report of tire marks "tarnishing" a new Pride crosswalk.
