Bestselling author Elizabeth Johnston has partnered with conservative publishing house BRAVE Books to produce a new pro-life children's book teaching kids about the sanctity of life.
The book titled Little Lives Matter and authored by Johnston, a homeschooling mother of 10 children and thought leader on issues important to families and followers of faith, tells the story of Momma Bear and her beloved son Mobi. The cub is born with only one front paw, which makes motherhood and Mobi's childhood development daunting. Momma Bear, however, won't give up on Mobi even when "Culture the Vulture" offers the mother bear an easier life.
Johnston's touching picture storybook follows the little one-armed bear and his mighty mother as the family stands against the evil antagonist. Despite constant calls to live for themselves, the beloved duo defend each other with the self-less refrain: "It's his life, not mine, that means most to me."
Little Lives Matter serves as a direct affront to Planned Parenthood, opposing the pro-abortion organization that operates under the guise of women's reproductive health. "Abortion is murder. Abortion is genocide," Johnston stated. "Many in society talk about [abortion] as if it’s no big deal. As parents, it's our job to teach our kids the truth. Our children need to know that every life deserves a chance—even the unborn. That's why I wrote Little Lives Matter."
Today's role models in the mainstream culture are attempting to glorify and normalize abortion, Johnston said in a promotional BRAVE Books video. The establishment media, every level of education, and Hollywood celebrities are brainwashing children who are bombarded with liberal propaganda into believing that aborting babies is commonplace and routine.
All human life is precious and deserves a chance, Johnston voiced. "Abortion is killing a human life that was made in the image of God," she continued. Johnston went on to list the negative effects of abortion: depression, fertility complications, and an act itself exploited by human traffickers and sexual abusers. "It's not a glamorous thing," Johnston reiterated. Since the 1970s, over 62 million babies have been aborted, which is more than 2,300 abortions per day, Johnston cited, adding that every 37 seconds, another helpless and innocent infant's life is taken.
The latest BRAVE Books drop is published in the face of Afghanistan's humanitarian crisis. As fatalities in the Taliban-controlled country reach record highs, Johnston's book teaches children to treasure all lives. From the women and Christians in the Middle East to the thousands of babies aborted every day in the United States, the book arriving in homes across numerous borders advocates for the sacred value of sentient life everywhere.
"Throughout American history, our most disgraceful and hopeless moments have been when we try to decide who is and who is not worthy enough to be considered a person. Let me tell you something: unborn lives matter," Johnston declared.
BRAVE Books is an up-and-coming publisher training children to think conservatively about hot political topics ranging from free speech to gender identity to feminism, among other debates comprising the national dialogue in America's classrooms and at home. Readers subscribe for a new book each month "to arm the next generation with conservative cultural values."
