New York City is working on cancelling its business contracts with the Trump Organization because of last week's US Capitol riots, said Mayor Bill de Blasio at a press conference on Tuesday.

New York City has several contracts with the Trump Organization, and de Blasio said "all of them are under review right now."

De Blasio said New York City is looking into terminating those contracts "very, very carefully and very quickly."

"The president incited a rebellion against the United States government — Clearly an unconstitutional act and people died," he said. "That's unforgivable. So our legal team is right now assessing the options."

De Blasio said he will have further comment when New York City's legal team comes to a resolution.

The Trump Organization has contracts with New York City through the operations of two ice rinks, a golf course, and a carousel.

These contracts involve the Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point, Wollman Rink at the southern part of Central Park, Lasker Rink at the northern end of the park, and the iconic Central Park Carousel.

Documents reviewed by the New York Post show the Trump Organization's contracts with the city are worth $45.2 million. About $36 million alone account for the rinks in Central Park.

Trump owns the Trump Organization, but he relinquished control of the company to his sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, when he was president.

New York City's plan to terminate its business agreements with the Trump Organization come amid the aftermath of the US Capitol riots on Jan. 6 and as accusations that the president incited violence begin to affect his private business dealings.

Deutsche Bank and Signature Bank announced they will no longer be associating with Trump due to the US Capitol riots. Deutsche Bank said they will stop doing business with his companies and him personally. Signature Bank said they will be closing two of his accounts totalling $5.3 million.

Shopify took down trumpstore.com, which the Trump Organization used to sell merchandise. Shopify said the company violated policies that ban the "promotion or support of organizations, platforms or people that threaten or condone violence to further a cause."

The Professional Golfers' Association of America said it plans on moving its 2022 championship away from the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster.
