The New York Police Department is investigating an alleged sex scheme where a woman uses Facebook to lure men to Bronx hotels, and then two armed cohorts rob the victims after they arrive.

Investigators said they are looking into five robberies since July 7 and the suspects have not yet been identified, according to New York Post.

"Once both [the woman and victim] are inside of the hotel room, the female instructs the male to take a shower, and while he is in the bathroom she lets into the hotel room another female and a male," the NYPD said. "When the victim exits the bathroom the second female and the male both display firearms at the victim and threaten to shoot him."

The three suspects bind their victims with duct tape and steal their cash and cell phones, as well as the clothing the victims are wearing, investigators said.

Authorities described the woman that is allegedly being used to lure the victims as a 25-year-old, 200lbs and 5'2 black female, who has tattoos on both arms and wears eyeglasses.

The second suspect, a black female, is believed to be around 40 years old, 4'11, and 140 pounds with black hair. The third suspect, a black male, is around 25 years old, 170lbs, and 5'10, according to New York Post.

The incidents are as follows, according to NYPD:

On July 7, a 31-year-old victim was robbed of his cell phone, wallet and debit card inside the Wheeler Hotel at 1162 Wheeler Ave around 6:30 p.m.

On July 16, a 31-year-old man was robbed inside the Crown Motor Inn at 3320 Boston Road.

On July 17, a 48-year-old man was robbed at the Friendly Motor Inn at 1119 East Gun Hill Road. The suspects took his debit and credit cards, clothing, and car keys. The robbers then ran up $3,000 of charges on his cards.

On July 24, a 46-year-old man was robbed inside the Van Cortlandt Motel at 6393 Broadway. The suspects robbed him of $200 cash, personal items, and a credit card.

On July 26, a 45-year-old man was robbed inside the Sheridan Hotel at 1440 Sheridan Blvd. He had his clothing and an unknown amount of money stolen.

Police released surveillance photos depicting all three individuals and are asking anyone with information on the suspects to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
