A former middle school teacher in Oklahoma is accused of allegedly sending nude photos to a student via Snapchat.

An arrest warrant has been filed for a 28-year-old former Oklahoma middle school teacher Ivy Reneau, accused of allegedly sending nude pictures to a 16-year-old student. If convicted, she faces felony charges for "using technology to engage in communication for sexual or prurient interest with a minor."

She was also an assistant soccer coach, and is said to have made the move after meeting the student at practice and overhearing rumors that he "liked her."

According to KFOR, Reneau added the student on Snapchat, and proceeded to send the pictures, which included "a picture of her topless," and one "posing in front of the mirror sideways with no clothes on and her breast was exposed along with her butt." She also allegedly sent a video.

After receiving the messages, the student showed his friends, and allegedly began to blackmail Reneau, saying he "could ruin her career." She eventually sent him $120 via CashApp, however, the news was brought to authorities after another faculty member overheard the student telling his friend about Reneau's messages.

Reneau later admitted to sending the images, but emphasized that despite making plans to hang out once, she and the student never had a physical relationship. She "knew it was wrong," but confessed that she "thought he was 18 years old."

Following the allegations, the Mid-Del School District sent out a statement.

"District officials were notified of an alleged relationship between a Mid-Del staff member and a student," it began. "We reported the information to law enforcement so that they could begin an investigation. The staff member is no longer employed by Mid-Del Schools, and we have worked closely with the family of the student in the wake of this accusation. We will continue to fully cooperate with the authorities."
