A shooting onboard a high-speed DART train in Dallas, Texas left one person dead and two injured on Sunday afternoon.

Daily Mail reports that two passengers reportedly had a disagreement around 4:30 pm on a northbound Green Line train in South Dallas near Hatcher Station.

The fatal altercation resulted in two people being shot, including a bystander. Authorities transported the victims to a Dallas hospital where one of them was later pronounced dead, according to DART spokesperson Gordon Shattles.

Dallas authorities say that the suspect remains at large, and that there was a third victim who had been struck by shrapnel that was reportedly treated at the scene.

This fatal shooting follows a deadly weekend in the state of Texas, which occurred one day after a mass shooting unfolded in Allen, Texas, which is just roughly 30 minutes from the city of Dallas.

A lone gunman opened fire at Allen Premium Outlets on Saturday afternoon killing eight and injuring seven. The ages and identities of the victims have not yet been released. Four of the injured victims are stable and three are in critical condition. Seven died at the scene, and one later succumbed to injuries.

The suspect, 33-year-old Mauricio Martinez Garcia of Dallas, Texas, was "neutralized" by police at the scene.
