Ontario doctor Rochagne Kilian will no longer be able to practice medicine after a provincial regulator barred her from doing so.
Regulators said that Dr. Kilian, who worked at an Owen Sound emergency room, opposed the COVID-19 vaccine and therefore put her patients' health in danger.
Kilian resigned from the hospital in August of this year.
According to the CPSO, Kilian, who also practiced family medicine with a degree from a South African university, has been suspended from practicing medicine.
Kilian was one of three doctors who were banned from handing out medical exemptions to COVID vaccination and mask mandates by the province.
A spokesperson told CP24: “Although we are limited in what we can disclose at this point, additional information about Dr. Kilian’s conduct will be made available at the earliest possible opportunity... That may include allegations referred to the Ontario Physicians and Surgeons Discipline Tribunal. Members also have the opportunity to appeal interim orders to the courts, at which point the College would present information in support of its decision.”
