Jared Schmeck, the Oregon father who said "Let’s Go Brandon" directly to President Joe Biden during a Christmas eve call gave a heartfelt thank you for the support he has received since the incident.

During an interview with Benny Johnson, host of The Benny Report on Newsmax, Schmeck said "God bless you guys. And thank you everyone for all the support."

"We have seen an increase in amount of support and it means a lot, cause we all know the left is loud and they want you to feel alone and I don't feel alone in this."

Schmeck added, "I will say that Joe Biden did help drive the point home when he agreed with me."

Schmeck also described the threats he has been getting since the incident. He said that the left has "…definitely been nasty."

"I mean, it's the same playbook every time, but it's not so much the smearing and whatnot. It's the physical threats… getting phone calls that are threatening…Other family members getting threats as well. People posting our address on the internet."

"I absolutely support everyone's right to have free speech as I did. If you don't agree with me, I can respect that. But I cannot respect the nasty physical threats against our lives. That's not something that I can stand for."

Schmeck told Johnson that the famous phrase "…encompasses our frustration with Joe Biden, this administration, the mainstream media who created this meme to begin with."

He added that the "mob leftist movement that wants to silence us and take away our freedoms."

Schmeck also lamented that no one was talking about Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan even though there are "…still people trapped over there."

"We've got the inflation rates, we've got the supply chain issues, and now we find out that he never actually had a plan for COVID. But let's go ahead and have some federal mandates. And so it's just one thing after another."

"Let's go Brandon has become the reason I'm able to use it is humor."

"My faith isn't in my government. It's not in Joe Biden. It's not even in Donald Trump as much as I love the man… it's in Jesus Christ… and because we have him, we cannot be stopped and they're afraid."

Schmeck also told Johnson that he does not feel like a hero for saying "Let's go Brandon" to Biden. "I do believe that we have to stand up, and given that opportunity, I ran with it."
