Chatham-Kent Police say they have shut down a large unmasked church gathering for the second day in a row.
Police say that over 100 people gathered at the Old Colony Mennonite Church in Wheatley, Ontario near Leamington on Sunday.
Global News reports that a 50-year-old man was charged for the gathering under the Reopening Ontario Act.
On Monday, police again visited the church, where more than 100 people were again gathered at the church.
A 43-year-old was charged after taking responsibility or the gathering. He will be required to attend
Police say that those in attendance complied with police and the gathering ended without incident.
The Post Millennial reached out to the Chatham-Kent police department to clarify the charged member's role at the Old Mennonite Church. At the time of publishing we have not received a response.
