Passengers who harassed Republican Senator Mitt Romney at Salt Lake City International Airport have been placed on Delta Air Lines' no-fly list, local FOX 13 reports.

Romney, who was the Republican Party's presidential candidate in 2012, was waiting to board a flight to Washington, DC where he was to vote on certifying President-elect Joe Biden's 2020 election victory during a joint session of Congress.

"Why aren't you supporting President Trump?" one woman asked Romney. "Are you going to support him in the fraudulent votes?"

Romney responded that he disagrees with President Donald Trump on a number of issues, and that he will not be certifying any fraudulent votes. Romney had already indicated that he would vote to certify the election for Joe Biden.

After Romney boarded the flight, the harassment continued with chants of "Traitor! Traitor! Traitor!"

Passengers of a different flight who harassed Republican Senator Lindsay Graham were also placed on a no-fly list.
