Failed Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg urged his Twitter followers to reach out to Trump supporters as his former campaign staff actively solicits a blacklist of pro-Trumpers on social media.

"If someone you love and care about voted the other way, today might be a good day to reach out. Not to talk politics, but to talk about things that will remind them (and yourself) why you love and care about them," Buttigieg tweeted Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile, "The Trump Accountability Project" is an ongoing ploy slated to archive the names of individuals who "elected, served, funded, supported, and represented" President Donald Trump.

Former Buttigieg national surrogates director Emily Abrams wrote before her account went private: "We’re launching the Trump Accountability Project to make sure anyone who took a paycheck to help Trump undermine America is held responsible for what they did."

"Join us and help spread the word," Abrams canvassed.

"Are you going to be speaking to your former staffers about their enemies list @PeteButtigieg?" questioned high-profile lawyer Leslie McAdoo Gordon.

The project's website emphasizes that "[w]e must never forget those who helped further the Trump agenda," adding that "the world should never forget those who, when faced with a decision, chose to put their money, their time, and their reputations behind separating children from their families, encouraging racism and anti-Semitism, and negligently causing the unnecessary loss of life and economic devastation from our country's failed response to the COVID-19 pandemic."

The self-described "permanent record" purportedly names Trump campaign and administration staffers; Republican National Committee members; affiliated PACs; donors; endorsers; lawyers; and federal boards, commissions, and judiciary appointees.

The link to the Trump Accountability Project circulated Twitter after 'squad' member and New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez asked: "Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future? I foresee decent probability of many deleted Tweets, writings, photos in the future."

"Yes, we are," answered ex-Obama administration staffer Michael Simon, vowing to expose "[e]very Administration staffer, campaign staffer, bundler, lawyer who represented them — everyone."
