Police in the Durham region in Ontario are searching for a 25-year-old man who may have been involved in an incident in which three people were kidnapped and forced to withdraw cash from their bank accounts.
Michael Nanton-Madden of Toronto is said to be “armed and dangerous.”
Police say he is wanted for "kidnapping, robbery, break and enter, pointing a firearm, forcible confinement, possession of a weapon for committing an offence, uttering death threats, theft of a motor vehicle and failing to stop for police," according to the Star.
The victims are said to be two men and one woman from St. Catharines, Ontario.
Durham Regional Police tweeted: "Two males arrested and a warrant is being sought for a third in a kidnapping and forcible confinement investigation involving three victims from St. Catharines. Police are looking for a third suspect who may be operating a black BMW."
The suspect may be driving a black, 2009 two-door BMW with Ontario plate #CLJA289.
