A poll posted on the social media app Blind found that 71 percent of tech professionals who use the app believe there is anti-conservative bias in tech.
Blind is a platform for professionals from various industries, verified through their work email addresses, to "connect to discuss what matters most.”
Reclaim the Net reported that a Blind poll posted by a Google employee in the "tech" section of the site, found that 71 percent of responders answered "yes" to the question, while 13 percent answered that such a bias exists but that it is "not purposeful."
The company website explains that "Professionals anonymously communicate in private company channels and openly with users across industries. Blind is a place where 3.5MM+ professionals worldwide share advice, provide honest feedback, improve company culture and discover relevant career information."
Recent reporting showed that 90 percent of political contributions that come from Facebook and Twitter employees went to Democrat campaigns.
