WATCH: Posobiec slams woke companies for hypocrisy, dubious histories

"Volkswagen, so what was Volkswagen doing? Well, put it this way, who was the founder of Volkswagen? Do you know who the founder of Volkswagen was?"

Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec on his Human Events Daily podcast took the time to point out that many of today's "woke" companies had ties to fascism back in the 1930s, and even directly to the Nazi party in Germany itself.

He first started out by talking about the newly-created US Space Force, which has now also gone "woke" in 2022, flashing its pro-pride messages to the public:

"The United States Space Force Major General Leah Lauderback ... is 'working to change policy, change minds, and celebrate opportunities for LGBTQ+ members of the US military' during an interview with Air and Space [the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum's website."

"They're now calling it 'Queer Space' and they've made a new graphic where the American flag on the moon is symbolically replaced with a pride flag. Isn't that nice? Thank you, Space Force!"

Industries such as the fashion industry have, in past decades, come to be known as having inextricable links to the modern LGBTQ+ communities of the world. This, of course, was not always the case, as Posobiec points out poignantly:

"Hugo Boss! Hugo Boss Corporate! June is here, and we are celebrating pride month. Diversity and inclusiveness is close to our heart here at Hugo Boss."

"... Don't ask Hugo Boss about the uniforms they made in the 1930s," Posobiec continues, also mentioning their "colleague Julio," who has just undergone "gender affirmation surgery."

"... Will Julio be doing any throwback content to the Hugo Boss 1934 collection? For those of you who don't know, Hugo Boss, back in the 1930s, made the uniforms for Hitler's Brown Shirts and the Waffen SS."

"So, there you go. That's Hugo Boss."

Posobiec then goes on to describe another company that, in 2022, likes to present itself to the public as "woke," also conveniently ignoring its own authoritarian past:

"Volkswagen, so what was Volkswagen doing? Well, put it this way, who was the founder of Volkswagen? Do you know who the founder of Volkswagen was?"

"... the Volkswagen was designed by the Nazi party, and the idea for the Volkswagen Beetle was created by Adolf Hitler. Yes, 100-percent true."

"... I just love," said Posobiec, wrapping it all up, "during Pride month, to go through and talk about the history of these companies and how woke and prideful they really are."
