Several firefighters in Toronto have been inured after a house exploded in the north-east part of the city, according to CTV News.

Firefighters and Police were called out to a home on Fralick's Beach Road, in the Township of Scugog, just north of Port Perry. The call came around 10:20 a.m. Tuesday morning, following reports of a potential exploded propane tank.

As many as three firefighters have been injured as a result of the explosion, confirmed Const. George Tudos. They have since been taken to hospital and have sustained minor injuries.

The roof was blown off of the house and the main structure of the property has been completely destroyed with only certain walls that remain standing.

The OPP has also arrived on the scene and several roads leading into the area have been closed.
