Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) was interviewed on Thursday, and wanted to make clear that it's Vice President Kamala Harris, not Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough, who has the final word on the $15 minimum wage issue.

Khanna's original tweet read, "The Constitution gives the Vice President the power to decide whether the $15 minimum wage can pass through reconciliation. The parliamentarian’s opinion is advisory, which VPs have disregarded before. Do not let anyone tell you that we do not have the power to pass $15 wage."
MacDonough's position as parliamentarian in this case is one of offering guidance, but she will not have the final word on whether reconciliation will be invoked or not.
@SenateDems, @WHCOS, and the @VP should remember quickly they work for the people. If you don't start doing the job you were hired to do, really soon, 14 D Senators may need to update their resumes after November 2022.

Don't blame Rs. You are the majority. Make it happen.
Reconciliation means that the Senate will only need 51 votes to pass the measure, as compared to the regular requirement of 60 votes, which is the requirement for the majority of bills that come before them.
There was heavy criticism of the Biden administration on this particular issue, and this time it was coming from both ends of the political spectrum.
