A new report from the National Pulse has revealed that Harvard University's Belfer Centre, which boasts participation from numerous current and former advisers of President Joe Biden, maintains ties to the Communist Party of China.

The Belfer Centre hosted multiple conferences alongside Chinese government and military officials, and has promoted Chinese propaganda. The institution does not disclose its funding sources.

Current Biden administration officials with ties to the institute include Jake Sullivan, Biden's National Security Adviser, and Avril Haines, Biden's Director of National Security. Antony Blinken, Biden's Secretary of State, has also signed a petition from the institute calling upon the United States to work with China on coronavirus vaccine development.

A number of former Obama administration officials have ties to the institute as well, including former Secretary of Defense Ash Carter, who now runs the institute. Eric Rosenbach, who also worked in the Obama administration, is part of the Belfer Centre as well.

Despite the repeated cyberattacks orchestrated by the Chinese government against American institutions, the institute hosted at least on cybersecurity forum which included officials from the Chinese Communist Party.

A general from the People's Liberation Army, China's military, was in attendance at the event, and it was hosted alongside the China Institute for International Strategic Studies (CIISS). The group's leadership is comprised entirely of Chinese government officials, most of whom are members of the CCP.

The organization has also spreading propaganda sympathetic to the CCP, including writing articles in Foreign Policy and the Financial Times arguing that Huawei spying is actually not that bad and calling for speaking out against blanket bans on Huawei technology.

The institute has refused to confirm or deny whether they receive funding from China or the Chinese government.
