William Shatner will be blasting into space this month, with the help of Jeff Bezos.
The 90-year-old actor, best known for playing Captain Kirk followed by a through-and-through legendary career, will be sent to space from a launching point in west Texas by Blue Origin, the Associated Press reports.
Shatner will be the oldest person ever to be sent to space, and he will be sent to space with three others. The launch will be the company's second-ever space flight.
The other crew members include a former NASA engineer, and a Blue Origin employee.
The team will be in space for ten minutes, and they will reach no higher than 66 miles above sea level.
"I've heard about space for a long time now. I'm taking the opportunity to see it for myself. What a miracle," Shatner said in a statement.
