A Spirit Airlines passenger was told to remove his "Let's Go Brandon" mask on a Friday flight because the flight attendant considered it offensive.
Footage of the incident was posted to TikTok by Adam Radogna, who has been an avid supporter of the anti-Biden "Let's Go Brandon" phrase.
In the first 30 seconds of the video, a flight attendant hands a standard blue replacement mask to the passenger. He asks for a reason why his custom black "FJB LET'S GO BRANDON" LED mask is unacceptable.
The flight attendant answers the passenger: "Because it's offensive. It can be to some people so we're not going to go…We're not going to go back and forth. Just go ahead and put the blue one on, okay?"
The passenger reassures her that he's not being confrontational. He sits there stunned for a few seconds before reacting, "Wow this is not America anymore. This is not America anymore."
Radogna posted a second part to the clip on his social media accounts.
He asked another flight attendant about his mask when getting off the Cleveland to Tampa flight. After debating about whether or not a BLM mask would've been fine, the person who appeared to be the original flight attendant from the first clip puts her hand in front of Radogna's camera, saying: "Please don't record me."
"Let's Go Brandon" mantra was popularized in October 2021 after NBC interviewed NASCAR racer Brandon Brown after he won a race.
Fans in the crowds were chanting "F*ck Joe Biden," and the NBC reporter tried suggesting they were saying, "Let's Go Brandon."
The tagline has stuck since then and was adapted as a phrase people say to express their discontent with the Biden administration—much to the ire of the establishment media who criticized it and Big Tech platforms who censored it.
A caller during last month's White House Christmas special managed to get President Joe Biden to say the phrase on-air.
