Top executives from Twitter and Facebook reportedly donated big bucks to the Biden-Harris campaign.
Federal Election Commission records revealed that tens of thousands of dollars from social media executives were given to Joe Biden's campaign. These donations occurred while the same social media companies were limiting circulation of information on Hunter Biden's business dealings, reports.
The records show that several executives gave the maximum legal campaign donation amount of $2,800, according to Fox News.
During Fox News' review of the FEC records, they say that they found no social media executives who donated to the Trump campaign.
Facebook's vice president of public policy Erin Egan reportedly donated $2,800 to the Biden campaign in October, after donating $2,800 during the primaries.
Facebook chief revenue officer David Fischer reportedly donated $750 during the general election and donated $2,800 during the primaries.
Twitter vice president Matt Derella reportedly donated $2,000 to the Biden campaign in September.
The records list several other top executives from both companies who made multi-thousand dollar donations to Biden and Harris. The records also showed that several Twitter and Facebook employees who were listed as "managers" or "directors" made substantial donations as well.
Two Facebook employees who were listed as "managers" or "directors" gave small sums to the Trump campaign, while no Twitter employees gave to the Trump campaign, according to the FEC records.
