Warren Eugene, 60 years old and residing in Toronto, was arrested on Tuesday and now faces 13 separate charges, all in connection with alleged sexual assaults on a boy occurring in the years 2000-2003.
The charges in question, according to police, are:
- removing a child from Canada
- performing an indecent act
- indecent exposure
- sexual interference with a person under 16 (five counts)
- sexual assault (five counts)
According to the Toronto Star, Eugene now has a court date set for Sept. 22 2021, where he will appear in College Park Court, in what is one of many sexual assault cases going forward in the Toronto area this year.
It is alleged that Eugene befriended the then minor victim in the year 2000, and over the course of the next approximately three years, assaulted him on multiple occasions.
Investigators handling the case believe that there's a high probability that Eugene would have also sexually assaulted other victims.
