Two men are facing gun charges after weapons were discharged at a vehicle in Toronto's Junction Triangle neighbourhood.
Police say that shots were reported on Thursday at around 4:41 pm near Sterling Road and Dundas Street West. The two men allegedly fired their guns at a vehicle and were seen running northbound on Sterliing Road.
Police said they found multiple bullet casings on the ground.
On Thursday, January 6, 2022, Mario Francis, 32, of Toronto, and David Williams, 19, of Toronto, were arrested and charged with:
- Three counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
- Three counts of Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Discharge Firearm with Intent to Wound Endanger Life
- Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
