Toronto police arrest man for production of child pornography and luring children

One man has been arrested, after he allegedly lured a child online in regards to making child pornography.

Toronto Police Service made an arrest made in a child pornography investigation, according to a media release.

Police say that on February 18, 2021, members of the Toronto Police Service Sex Crimes - Child Exploitation Section conducted a search warrant in the Victoria Park Avenue and Sunrise Avenue area.

One man has been arrested, after he allegedly lured a child online in regards to making child pornography. The man was also found to have abusive content containing children at his residence.

Karthlig Baskaran, 31, of Toronto has been charged with luring a child, possession of child pornography, accessing child pornography, and making child pornography.
