Toronto Police Service is warning the public of what appear to be poisoned peanut shells dropped around two downtown Toronto dog parks.

According to Global News, police responded to a call at Canoe Landing Park, as well as Victoria Memorial Square after reports that a man and woman were dropping tainted peanut shells near trees around the parks.

Police are investigating the incident and officers are patrolling the parks.
