Toronto Public Health is warning the public that as many as 550 people may have been exposed to the novel coronavirus at the Brass Rail Tavern in the city's Yorkville region.

The agency says that those who visited the tavern between August 4 and August 8 should self isolate and that they should self monitor for coronavirus symptoms.

The infected employee "worked from 7:00 p.m. on Aug. 4 to 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 5, from 8 p.m. on Aug. 5 to 3 a.m. on Aug. 6, from 9 p.m. Aug. 7 to 3 a.m. on Aug. 8 and 7 p.m. on Aug. 8 to 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 9," reports CP24.

All those who were in close contact with that employee are already in self isolation. Contacts were traceable due to Stage 3 guidelines, which require patrons to give their contact information in case there is a breakout.

Current Ontario guidelines do not allow lap dances. Those who develop symptoms are required to go to their nearest COVID treatment centre.
