For a steep $125,000 USD you can buy yourself a seat on a submarine and take a trip to "the Last Word in Luxury."
Sitting at roughly 2 miles down on the floor of the Atlantic ocean, RMS Titanic has only been visited by about 140 people in it's more than 100 year slumber.
An exploration company out of the state of Washington, OceanGate Expeditions is offering tourists a chance to join six 10-day missions next year, which will allow them to view the wreck of the worlds most famous ship.
The organization conducts undersea expeditions to explore and document the 95 percent of the seafloor that man has never visited including iconic shipwrecks, hydrothermal vents, deep-sea canyons, and uncommon biological events around the world.
According to the company, a maximum of nine tourists are allowed on each mission..
Each dive will take eight to ten hours in a five-manned Cyclops-class submersible called Titan.
Daily Mail says 36 people are reported to have booked their spot on the trips. The company requires adventurers to complete a strict application and pass a video interview. The excursion also requires training.
