Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced to the world that he's received his third shot, also known as a booster jab.
Trudeau published a photo of himself getting the jab on Twitter, showing the prime minister chatting to a nurse.
"Got my booster shot this morning. To everyone out there who’s gotten their shots, and to the health care workers who are getting these shots into arms, thank you for doing your part," wrote the PM.
"And to anyone who’s eligible but hasn’t yet been vaccinated or boosted, please, do that now."
Yesterday, As Ontario went into lockdown, Quebec remains shut down, cases climb, and inflation continues to soar, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau decided to take a day off from work.
According to the prime minister's official itinerary, Justin Trudeau has chose to take a "personal day" in Gatineau, Quebec. Gatineau is just over the provincial border from Ottawa, Ontario.
According to Trudeau's personal itinerary for today, the prime minister will be speaking to Dr. Theresa Tam and the BC Premier John Horgan.
