Trudeau believes Canada is committing genocide. So why does he want a genocidal state on the UN Security Council?

For real leaders, actions are far more important than words. Words are cheap, as anyone can say anything.

Unfortunately, for many politicians, they seem to think that saying the right combo of words will magically deal with problems, as if the word is somehow a substitute for real action.

Justin Trudeau is a clear example of that. He has taken virtue-signalling to a new level, choosing to use politically correct words instead of taking action to fix problems.

Yet, those words end up making people demand action, as they justifiably assume that someone should mean something real when they say something.

So, when Justin Trudeau said that the report on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women & Girls amounted to a ‘genocide’ committed by Canada, he probably thought he was just making a quick and cheap statement to get on the politically-correct side of an issue.

But now, he’s pushing for Canada to get a (worthless) UN Security Council seat.

Which raises the following point, as noted by Jonathan Kay on Twitter:

“I'm not speaking figuratively. Canada is literally asking the world to put a self-admitted genocide state into the UN security council. & the fact that no one is even bringing this up shows how completely pointless & meaningless this discussion was in 2019.”

This shows the emptiness of Trudeau’s words.

He is simultaneously claiming that Canada is a genocidal state, and claiming that Canada is a beacon to the world that deserves a UN Security Council seat.

In fact, after Trudeau "admitted" to "genocide," the UN even said they would investigate Canada for these supposedly ongoing "crimes."

So now, a country that is under investigation for ‘genocide’ is seeking a UN seat. How can Trudeau possibly justify this absurd situation?

And now, this brings up the obvious question: Was Trudeau lying then, or is he lying now?

If Trudeau believes Canada deserves a UN Security Council seat, then he obviously cannot believe that Canada is committing genocide.

And if he does believe Canada is committing genocide, then he obviously cannot believe that Canada deserves a UN Security Council seat.

It’s one or the other. It can’t be both.

As we have long witnessed, nothing Trudeau says can be trusted. His words are meaningless, and the only thing keeping him propped up is the corrupted establishment press who serve as his press department rather than as a critical press.
