Trudeau to visit Europe for first G20 meeting since pre-pandemic

The main focuses of the summit will be pandemic management, climate change, and vaccine equity around the world.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is will depart for Europe this week to represent Canada at the G20 meeting, which will be held in Italy and Scotland.

Trudeau's Europe trip will kick off with a visit to Holland to meet Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, followed by a visit to Rome for the official leaders' summit. This will be the first G20 meeting since before the pandemic.

The main focuses of the summit will be pandemic management, climate change, and vaccine equity around the world.

Trudeau will also be flying to Scotland for the first two days of the UN's climate discussions.
