Arizona congressional candidate Blake Masters for the United States Senate is leading in the latest polls, beating out Republican Attorney General of Arizona Mark Brnovich.
The poll conducted by Trafalgar Group shows Trump-endorsed candidate Blake Masters polling at 28.9 percent, slightly ahead of Attorney General Brnovich who currently sits at 23.7 percent.
Other Arizona GOP Senate candidates hoping to win in the important battle-ground state include Jim Lamon who is polling at 17.2 percent, Michael McGuire at 4.4 percent, and Justin Olson at 4 percent. 21.8 percent of voters say they are undecided.
Former President Donald Trump endorsed Masters in early June, just two months ahead of the primary election in August, beating out the other GOP candidates that were vying for the coveted endorsement.
Blake Masters is a venture capitalist, author, and president of the Thiel Foundation, a nonprofit that promotes science and innovation. This is the second candidate backed by entrepreneur Peter Thiel that Trump has endorsed, following the successful support of JD Vance in Ohio.
On his website Masters states, "I'm a Christian, husband, father, businessman, gun owner, and an early member of President Trump's MAGA movement. I grew up in Arizona, and I hate what is happening to it."
Master's platform notes that the modern Democratic party has "given up on America" and "given up on you." He bases much of his criticism around the tech industry and its capitulation to Leftist ideology.
The winner of GOP's Arizona August primary will face Democratic senator Mark Kelly in one of the more contentious seats in the November election.
