Trump, Fox writes, "looks formidable, while President Biden faces doubt."
Republican voters favor former President Donald Trump at 43 percent, while Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis, who has not announced a run but is widely believed to be moving in that direction, earned 28 percent of the primary voters.
Nikki Haley, Trump's former Ambassador to the UN, and Trump's former VP Mike Pence both squeaked in with 7 percent, while Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the disgraced former Wyoming congresswoman Liz Cheney eked out 2 percent each.
Trump remains the favorite despite losing to Biden in 2020, and was a specific favorite of GOP voters, while DeSantis gains ground with college-educated Republican voters.
Analysts for Fox stated that DeSantis' best shot is a blunder from the former president.
Meanwhile, on the Democrat side, 53 percent of voters want another option on the ticket. 37 percent are okay with retaining Biden's leadership. 84 percent of Democrats approve of Biden as president, but they are still looking for another option.
