He was infamous for his different modes of public speaking. Many of his supporters preferred the rally version of Donald Trump.

The Daily Mail reports that the former President is returning to the rally trail. Trump is planning to return with two events in June and another event “around July 3” in time for Independence Day.

Late last month President Biden threatened to cancel the fourth of July on the grounds that enough people weren’t getting the vaccine. A seemingly empty threat as just today the CDC announced new rules saying that fully vaccinated people don’t need to wear masks or socially distance anymore, whatsoever.

“The president is anxious to get back out on the trail and we are getting a lot of offers and invitations from both candidates and political causes in different areas,” a Trump adviser told Daily Mail.

The easing of COVID restrictions throughout many parts of the United States allows Trump room to schedule events again.

The outlet notes that the former President is likely capitalizing on the numerous crises within the Biden administration currently. An open letter by 126 retired generals warning the Biden administration is putting America in “deep peril” sets the backdrop.

On one hand we have reports that the migrant flows for April were the worst on record, at 178,622. Biden continues to use identity politics in his policy making as today his administration announced prioritization for “transgender migrants” crossing the US border. But the Biden White House is also restarting construction on parts of the Trump border wall, a tacit admission that the President’s predecessor was right about something.

There’s speculation about Trump running in 2024 and he’s reportedly considering a visit to the border at some point to make a public statement.

On the other hand the USA is coming out of a gas crisis that gripped the east coast after ransomware shut down the Colonial Pipeline late last week. It was a messy situation that now apparently culminates with reports that the pipeline company paid a $5 million ransom to the hackers.
