A Navy official who works as a valet for President Donald Trump has tested positive for coronavirus.

The news raises concerns as it means the president could have possibly been exposed to the virus.

Trump was not happy upon learning the news on Wednesday and he has undergone another test by the White House Physician.

The White House confirmed the news in a statement.

"We were recently notified by the White House Medical Unit that a member of the United States Military, who works on the White House campus, has tested positive for coronavirus," Hogan Gidley, the deputy White House press secretary, said in a statement. "The President and the Vice President have since tested negative for the virus and they remain in great health."

A source from the White House said that the man who was acting as a valet showed symptoms of the virus on Wednesday morning.

President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and people who interact with them often are receiving weekly tests for the virus. The tests are rapid Abbott Labs tests and can give results in just 15 minutes.
