Twitter disabled a satirical video posted by President Donald Trump that depicted mock news footage that made fun of CNN's coverage on race relations in America.

The video, which Trump shared to the platform on Thursday, now shows the message: "This media has been disabled in a response to a report by the copyright owner."

"Per our copyright policy, we respond to valid copyright complaints sent to us by a copyright owner or their authorized representatives," a spokesperson told Fox News.

"We enforce the Twitter Rules impartially for everyone who uses our service, regardless of their background or political affiliation," they continued.

The video features a black toddler running away from a white toddler as intense music plays and a "breaking news" chyron reads, "Terrified toddler runs away from racist baby" with a CNN logo beside it. Then the line changes to "Racist baby probably a Trump voter."

Then there is a switch, where the graphic says "what actually happened" and shows the same two toddlers running toward each other and hugging.

The original footage of the toddlers came from a viral Facebook video shared in 2019 that featured two real-life toddlers. And it was the parent who had originally made the video that filed the complaint about Trump's version, which prompted Twitter and Facebook to take down Trump's version.

But Twitter initially responded to the video and targeted it as "manipulated media."

"You may not deceptively promote synthetic or manipulated media that are likely to cause harm," Twitter explained. "In addition, we may label Tweets containing synthetic and manipulated media to help people understand their authenticity and to provide additional context."
