On Wednesday morning, a vehicle crashed into a downtown Vancouver supermarket, reports Global News.

According to police, a SUV ran into the Fresh Street Market located at Howe Street and Pacific Street. The incident took place at about 3:30 a.m and the car was reportedly a rental vehicle.

Vancouver Fire Rescue showed up at the scene with Hazmat, as some of the vehicle’s fuel was leaking.

The vehicle had Alberta plates and the driver was taken into custody as well as two passengers, say Vancouver police.

Specialists will have to assess the building’s structure through the company responsible for the buildings management.

Nobody involved in the incident was hurt and the cause of the crash is still unknown.
