Canadian comedian Ryan Long posted a comedy skit, titled "When Wokes and Racists Actually Agree on Everything," that went viral today for shedding light on ironic similarities between the "woke" white mob and the racists they detest.
Satirical characters Brad and Chad play "Woke" and "Racist" pals, respectively, who teamed up after realizing their emphasis on skin color is the basis of their unbreakable bond.
The "Best Friends Forever" believe that "racial identity is the most important thing" and "everything should be looked at through the lens of race."
Their politically correct terminology may differ, but their true friendship is built on objectifying minorities based solely on race. Brad uses "people of color" while Chad uses "colored people," but the semantics don't matter as long as these groups are "classified."
After all, minorities are monoliths who think, act, and vote the same, the two echoed—despite admitting to barely knowing any.
The duo even finish each other's sentences, exclaiming that society should "roll back discrimination laws so we can hire based on race again."
Job opportunities should be appointed by category, not granted by merit, they emphasized. Moreover, everyone should stay in their own racial lanes whether they are entrepreneurs owning ethnic restaurants or white actors portraying characters on screen.
Chad called it what it is: segregation. They both think segregation should be extended to business practices, in which minorities should have exclusive access to certain services.
"Black people should only shop at black businesses," they shouted in unison.
Both are against interracial dating. Black men who date white women have internalized racism, Brad specified, and white men who date ethnic women are just fetishizing their partners.
White people need to stop wearing dreadlocks and stop "culturally appropriating" black people's music, Brad urged. "Shaved heads and country music as God intended," Chad rebutted, painting the skinhead, redneck stereotypes.
"Us white people, we have so much privilege, Brad said. "I agree. It is a privilege to be white," Chad mirrored.
The only point of contention: "white people are the root of all evil," Brad said.
"If we can narrow that down to a certain group of tiny hatt-ed white people, I think we can come to a certain understanding," Chad responded, alluding to white supremacists' anti-Semitic views.
Brad said he didn't consider Jewish people "white." Chad agreed.
Many viewers restated the viral video's comical message, vocalizing that the "woke" and racists are indeed two sides of the same coin.
